World War II – The Americans in Sudbury 1944/45

Base Bulletin Board June 1944:

“All personnel of this command are warned to avoid contact with a woman residing in Curds Lane, Sudbury, Suffolk. She is of medium height, blond, blue eyes, weighs about 135 pounds, and is about 30 years of age. Four cases of Gonorrhea have been traced to her at this station and more from other stations. She is not co-operating with British authorities in undergoing treatment and is considered highly infectious with Gonorrhoea.”
